Sherwood Electromotion recognizes that a wide range of propulsion systems’ components is no longer fully supported by the Original Equipment Manufacturers. To address this critical matter, Sherwood Electromotion initiated dedicated engineering and manufacturing programs to ensure the availability of high quality parts and subassemblies, necessary for the complete rehabilitation of various traction motors, generators, alternators and auxiliary power equipment.
The successful culmination of Sherwood Electromotion’s efforts is clearly evident in the steadily increasing production volumes of new coils, rotors, armatures, stator and other mechanical and electrical components.
Sherwood
Electromotion manufactures new coils, rotors, armatures and stators in
strict compliance with customer’s specifications. These components are
assembled into complete traction motors by Sherwood Electromotion or
are supplied to our customers as replacement parts. This is a
Sherwood Electromotion innovation, designed to extend operational
lifespan of propulsion systems’ equipment used by our customers.
