We are conveniently located at Jane & Hi-way 7 area, a 7 minute-walk from Vaughan Metropolitan Center TTC Subway Station. We operate in 3 shifts (Morning-6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Afternoon-3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and Night. 10:30 PM to 7 AM). Full time guaranteed hours of 40HRS/WK Mondays to Fridays.

We are looking for Assemblers (Mechanical, Electrical, and General Assemblers/Disassemblers)

We provide training for the following:

  • SEI System Trainings (Barcode, E-ITR).
  • WHMIS. Health, Safety &  Quality Training.
  • Electrical Measurements Training (Theory & Practical).
  • Mechanical Measurements Training (Theory & Practical).
  • Overhead Crane Operation Training (Theory & Practical). Counterbalance Forklift Training (Theory, Practical, & Internal Licensing).
  • Department Specific Trainings (Assembly, Disassembly,  Washing, Balancing, Welding, Rewinding, etc.). wIn-Class, Practical, & On-the-Job Trainings. Other trainings as required.

You must have experience in any 4 or more skills below:

  1. Wind, Shape and Form, Tape, and Test
  2. Perform and understand the usage of hand and power tools.
  3. Use various cleaning agents and chemicals in safest manner.
  4. Handle electric motor parts as required and ready to get hands dirty.
  5. Handle greasy, oily and dirty motor parts to be cleaned
  6. Knowledge/Experience of various thinners, types of paints, inhibitors and their proper use and application.
  7. Use of paint spray equipment, selection of spray gun nozzles for required coverage.
  8. Remove pre-existing paint from motors using sandblasting technique and other method.
  9. Familiar with regulations and procedures for handling and storage of flammable materials
  10. Assemble various motors (AC/DC motors or automotive assembly experience a plus)
  11. Washing and drying motors/equipment.
  12. Knowledge of motor dismantling, stripping and construction according to the manufacturer’s specification
  13. Assemble/Disassemble motor parts base on written and verbal instructions.
  14. Knowledge of motor, Bearing Lubrication and Installation.
  15. Capable of reading and understanding coil and wiring interconnection diagrams and their preparation on AC and DC motors.
  16. Understanding of close tolerance finishing principles and proper torqueing, and total indicator and run-out and alignment.
  17. Experience/knowledge in operating the following equipment: (Hydraulic presses and pullers, Cutting machines, Soldering and brazing, Washing and Drying Equipment, Cranes, Forklift, Curing and Burn-up ovens.
  18. Capable of performing electrical tests (Insulation Resistance, Hi-Pot, Surge, Resistance, Bar to Bar, Impedance) and mechanical measurements as they relate to the motor fault analysis, test bed setup and operation with related computer functions.
  19. Operating principles and use of Test bed set-up and associated equipment, Computer equipment and applications, Load Tester machine (dynamometer), Profiler machine (TIR) and printing results, ITR’s and paper work, AC and DC drivers and motor control systems.
  20. Knowledge of motor construction (AC and DC) and acceptance criteria according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  21. Knowledge of fundamental electrical codes and principles.
  22. Understanding of Safety concepts and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.
  23. Operate/Setup manual lathe, milling machines, vertical and radial drill press
  24. Knowledge of automatic and manual undercutting machines and tools, balance and brush plating machines.
  25. Use calipers and other precision mechanical measuring tools.
  26. Read and Interpret Mechanical drawings and specifications.
  27. Understand safety concepts including ISO 9001.
